Security Notice: Fraudulent Emails Sent from Our info@veridiancruise.com Account

We want to make our customers aware of a security incident involving our general email account, info@veridiancruise.com.

Earlier today, unauthorized access was gained to this mailbox, and approximately 1,500 fraudulent emails were sent from our account without our knowledge or permission.

The fraudulent email contains a message similar to the following:

“We identified that you were overcharged on your recent order, and you have a credit refund due.

To process your refund, please complete the attached Adobe form and send it back to us at your earliest convenience.”

This email did not originate from Veridian Cruise and is a phishing attempt. The attached PDF and any requests contained within it should be considered malicious.

What You Should Do

If you received this email:

  • Do not open the attachment if you have not already done so.
  • Do not reply to the email.
  • Do not provide any personal or financial information.
  • Delete the email from your inbox and trash folder.

If you already opened the attachment or interacted with it, we recommend running a malware scan on your computer and changing any passwords if you entered credentials into any website linked from the document.

What We’re Doing

We have taken immediate action to secure our systems and are actively working to restore full access to our email services.

Our team is:

  • Investigating how the unauthorized access occurred.
  • Working with our email provider to secure the account.
  • Resetting credentials and reviewing security settings.
  • Implementing additional security measures to help prevent similar incidents in the future.

During this time, responses from our info@veridiancruise.com address may be delayed.
