We’re rolling out firmware 1.5.0 for Veridian Cruise, and we’d love your help putting it through its paces before the full release.
The headline change in this version is improved cancel behaviour. When the Cancel button is pressed — or if the system enters an error condition — a 2-second lockout is now applied before any button input is accepted again. All button states are reset cleanly at the end of that lockout window. The intent is to prevent accidental re-engagement immediately after a cancel or fault event, giving the system (and the helmsman) a moment to settle.
Instructions for updating your unit are linked below.
If you do try the update, we’d genuinely appreciate hearing how it goes — real-world feedback from beta users is the fastest path to a confident full release. Drop us a note with anything you notice, good or bad.
If you want this update applied to your new order. Let us know in the order notes.
