Triple Switch

A 3 button switch for controlling the cruise functions is included. Fully watertight and durable. Mounts directly to standard 22mm handlebars with a fully opening bracket. Increase and Decrease speed by 3kph with each press (configurable). This option provides 3 buttons:

  • Resume / Increase

LED lights and other upgrade compatibility

This kit is 100% compatible with any aftermarket lights and kits. No wire splicing or messing with brake wires.

Cruise Stop Conditions

We know it’s paramount on motorbikes to quickly kill the cruise control in as many situations as possible. Our module will disengage cruise control for any one of the following conditions

  • Engine RPM signal falls below 1000 or above defined max
  • Front brake lever**
  • Clutch lever is pulled
  • Bike transmission is in first gear or neutral
  • Any one of the required CANBUS packets are not updated within 1000 milliseconds
  • A difference of 10% between the front and rear wheel speed

**The 390 CANBUS does not provide rear brake information

Configurability

The module has a weather tight USB-C connector for changing various settings such as speed increment size, PID gain, and throttle limits.

Diagnostic Port

This kit uses the diagnostic port of your bike. If you want a second port for OBD and Off Road dongles, see addon section.

Install Difficulty

To install this kit you must remove the tank and split the headlight housing. About 2 hours install time with proper tools. T-harness will override the throttle signals and diagnostic connector will collect important speed data.

Installation was super easy with the video and functionality the unit works as advertised and is a game changer for long trips.

I installed the cruise control (the toggle switch version) on my ‘22 KTM390 Adventure and went for a 30 min test ride yesterday. This thing is awesome! Works as expected and perfectly. I modified it slightly so that the toggle switch performs the SET and RES functions. I added a pushbutton switch for the CANCEL, although it’s really not needed since turning the throttle a bit, or activating the clutch or front brake, will cancel the cruise just fine. Installation wasn’t too bad. I can’t wait to go on a long trip with it.
Also, superior support from Jackson at VC who answered all of my emails very quickly, accurately, and respectfully (nothing was wrong with the system, but I had questions regarding the modifications I made).

  3. Chris Clement

Had a slight issue with the kit when I installed it, Jackson replied within minutes to an email I sent on a Saturday night to talk me through getting the unit to work properly! A few extra emails back and forth to identify a small issue I should have caught on my own, and the bike now has cruise control like its big brothers! Love that they were able to utilize the 890 oem switch for cruise control, it looks like the bike came with it from the factory!

As for the install itself, it would be incredibly simple if it weren’t for KTM’s design behind the headlight! There’s very little room in there, so you have to re-route all the oem wiring to gain as much space as possible for reinstalling the headlight into the bucket. I think my install took less an hour, including mounting the new left switch stalk on the handlebar, but took another 2 hours to get everything to line up just right for the headlight to go back in!!! Literally the hardest part of the job is getting it all back together!

Having said that, I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again, and now knowing how to route the wires neatly in the headlight bucket would make the installation of this complete kit a total of 3 hours just “casually” installing this kit and not rushing through the process.

This should’ve been the factory option from KTM. A bit annoying to install as you have to get deep in the bike, but nothing complicated. I’ve put over 7,000 miles/ 10,000km so far any this has been a life saver on the long stretches of highways. Works in the slower speeds as well, use it if I have to mess with the navigation or the phone. The install instructions are through enough, but I also created a install video that’s on this page to help with some of the troubleshooting. Once you get used to operating it, its muscle memory and works great. Night and day difference compared to the throttle lock type units.

Bought their module for the KTM 390 Adventure and it works flawlessly. The instructions were great with pictures and everything. I had a very positive experience dealing with this company and their product.

The KTM 390 Adventure can now be deemed complete. Thanks to VC for their prompt support and guidance despite me being oceans away. I ended performing a controlled test of the unit yesterday and this thing works like a charm. The KTM showroom and service center guys still can’t beleive the OEM combination switch working on a 390!

I’ve Been running the Veridian Cruise for over 3 months now on my 390ADV with no issues, requires a small number of tools to install and must be comfortable disassembling a few parts on the bike, including the headlight assembly. Definitely worth it once its installed though, Works just like an OEM cruise control with the OEM hand controls from the 890, no extra buttons or gizmos to get in your way. The only downside is there is no cruise indicators or speed setting displayed anywhere, but that’s a minor inconvenience for what you get. It’s great for highway cruising, very smooth and lets you rest that throttle hand a bit.

Just installed on my 2022 RC390. Bike should have come with this from the factory. Install was easy just take your time. On the RC didn’t even need to remove the gas tank, or side faring to install. Beyond happy with the product and works great!!

  10. Bruno L

I purchased the harness with the OEM 890 Switch (love the factory look!). Finally had the bike out for a longer 200mi+ ride and truly love it! It holds a nice steady speed and is super simple to use. Yes, the install is tedious, but customer support is great and it is so worth it in the end! I no longer dread fwy riding on this bike; it used to be frustrating trying to keep a steady speed since a low power bike is easily affected by wind, hills, etc. The cruise control completely fixes that annoyance and you get to rest your hand. Highly recommend it!

Easy to fit. Bit of a pain to get all the wiring squeezed back into the headlight housing but managed it in the end. Works well.
Only suggestion for improvement would be the soft touch switch. It does not open up enough to go over the bars (without removing the handgrips/switchblock etc). I did not want to remove my grips as I had just glued on new heated grips, so I had to cut the switch to get it over the bars. I drilled 2 small holes and used a zip tie to secure it. Maybe future versions could have a hinge or a two part mount so it can be fitted on the bars without grip/switchblock removal.

  12. Adventure Rider

Customer service great and product as represented !!! And it works on my 2024 KTM 390 Adventure!!

  13. Kevin L

Install went fine, wires definitely tight to put bezel back together. Opted for the handlebar mounted soft touch switch. Takes a bit longer to install having to remove grips/clutch perch to slide on. Probably would splurge for the OEM KTM switch if I were to install again. All in all this kit works flawless! Would not ride the bike without having this option.

This is a truly great and clever piece of hardware and well worth the effort of the installation. I’m very happy with the cruise control unit and it’s like riding a totally new bike at a fraction of the cost! The wiring is quite straightforward to connect but as others have said the time consuming part is re-assembling the headlight housing and packing all those cables & connectors into the tiny space available. If you’re not confident on this part then you can always get a mechanic to assist with this. I used a universal joint set on a long extension arm with my ratchet set and was able to remove the headlight supports without having to remove the fuel tank so this saved some time for me.

Anyway, the bottom line for me is it’s well worth the cost & effort of installing this device.

    Thank you for your work.
It works awesome, very tight to install but worth it.
    Set your speed and enjoy.

  16. Wyatt Bilby

I love it. It is just what this little single cylinder was missing for droning down the highway bits between dirt. KTM should nix traction control and include cruise. However, KTM could care less what I think…😂

This is a very sweet addition to the KTM 390! Install was simple enough as it’s plug and play but the reassembly of the headlight housing and routing of the wires took a fair bit of time to do properly. I bought the OEM switch so looks like a factory installed unit on the bike. I did have to program the throttle parameters to get it to work initially but Jackson from Veridian helped with that bit of trouble shooting. I’m very happy with this product and with the service I received. Highly recommend!

Ok, this is the second Veridian Cruise Control Unit I’ve bought. I couldn’t be happier. It’s the whole reason we bought a second KTM 390 Adventure- because we could have legitimate cruise control for under $500. This device/unit is a complete transformation of our two KTM 390 Adventures (2020 and 2023). We also have an 890 R with the Tech Package to compare these with. The unit is relatively easy to install. Jackson has been great to communicate when I needed help with the first install. Once, I had it installed on the first bike and was able to experience how well it works, we purchased the other 390 and ordered the Veridian for it, too. If you’re planning on doing any “adventure” riding, i.e. BDRs or other trips that involve some long distances to and from home; having cruise control is a must to prevent fatigue that can lead to injury after multiple days on the road. This helps reduce wrist pain but also mental fatigue to keep you ready for the fun off stuff. This is a five star device with five star customer support and service!
