This kit adds much needed electronic cruise control to the "Do It ALL" 690 SMC and Enduro bikes. Works like it does in your car.

Compatibility

  • 2014 - 2023 KTM 690 Enduro with white diagnostic connector
  • 2020 - 2023 Husqvarna 701 with white diagnostic connector
  • 2022 - 2024 GasGas ES 700 with white diagnostic connector

Choice of switch

Soft Touch Switch

This new soft touch switch is marked with set and cancel icons. Best for budgets and OEM looks, No RESUME function. Mounts on a standard 22mm diameter bar. Watertight and made from durable PA6+20%GF. See product page for dimensions. 50cm length, also comes in a 80cm length for bikes with risers.

Micro Toggle

For controlling the cruise functions we supply a top notch waterproof micro toggle for mounting anywhere. The toggle option only provides SET and CANCEL functions, No RESUME. A 1/4" mounting bracket is provided for mounting onto your bark busters or put the switch directly into the plastics.

LED lights and other upgrade compatibility

This kit is 100% compatible with any aftermarket lights and kits.

Cruise Stop Conditions

We know its paramount on motorbikes to quickly kill the cruise control in as many situations as possible. Our module will disengage cruise control for any one of the following conditions. The 690 bikes CANBUS has limited information and thus we can only provide the following stop conditions.

  • Front or Rear Brake Depressed
  • Any one of the required CANBUS packets are not updated within 1000 milliseconds
  • A difference of 10% between the front and rear wheels

Configuration

The module has a weather tight USB-C connector for changing various settings such as speed increment size, PID gain, and throttle limits.

Diagnostic Port / Offroad Module

This kit uses the diagnostic port of your bike. If you want a second port for OBD and Off Road dongles see addon below. Also see our offroad software addon which can also enable the offroad mode without the purchase of a seperate dongle.

Install Difficulty

To install this kit you must remove the tank. About 1 -2 hours install time with proper tools. T-harness will override the throttle signals and diagnostic connector will collect important speed data. For this 690 bike, an additional T-Tap is required for the brake wire.

2019 ktm 690 install.

Just installed this on my 2019 690 enduro R. I routed my components as per the video above and was a nice and easy install. Works great, and will be very nice for slabbing it a few hours to the mtns.

Australian KTM 690

Fantastic product. Being an Australian model bike (and with KTM having a multitude of electronic configurations between markets), they initially didn't have a unit to fit, however, after an email they sorted one for me. It required a couple of emails between myself and them to fit, and even with the time difference, they were incredibly prompt on replying to me. Actual installation was super easy taking maybe 1 hour max. The unit itself is great quality, super easy to use and works great - it holds a constant speed much better than the factory cruise control on my 1290. Best upgrade I've done to the bike

Cruise control!!

The included instructions had me working on the right side of the bike which was completely wrong for my 2023. None of the pics were matching up so, I viewed the install video available on YouTube which showed to install on the left side of the bike but, showed a wiring harness completely different from the one I received. I ended up installing on the left side and plugging it up as per the instructions included minus, again, the wrong side of the bike. Despite the poor installation instructions, it works as advertised. Another complaint might be about the control, it could have been easier to install if it wasn’t necessary to remove the left side handlebar controls to fit it.
